Carole Denise Fredericks, born June 5, 1952 in Springfield (Massachusetts) and died June 7, 2001 in Dakar, is an American singer.
Younger sister of blues musician Taj Mahal, she is best known for her collaboration with Jean-Jacques Goldman and Michael Jones in the trio Fredericks Goldman Jones. She has also had a career as a backing singer, notably on Mylène Farmer's first album, Cendres de lune (1986), and on her first tour in 1989, as well as for Johnny Hallyday, France Gall, Hubert-Félix Thiéfaine, and Roch Voisine.
