Paolo Benvegnù, born Paolo Giuseppe Benvegnù, ( Milan , 14 February 1965 ), is a guitarist and singer Italian .
In 1993 he was one of the founders of the Scisma , an alternative rock group from Lake Garda in which he is guitarist and singer. With the Scisma he recorded, produced and composed three discs ( Bombardano Cortina in 1995 , Rosemary Plexiglas in 1997 and Armstrong in 1999 ) and also participated in numerous festivals, including international ones, such as Europa connection and Le primtemps de Bourges ( France ). . The band also won the Ciampi Award in 1998and has given concerts all over Europe .
After the dissolution of the Schisma, which took place in 2000 , Benvegnù moved to Florence , where he collaborated with Marco Parente in the recordings of the Trasparente album , published by Mescal / Sony . He resumes some acting performances, participating in The Adventures of Pinocchio , by the Mannini & Dall'Orto company. Collaborate with Üstmamò in the album Tutto Bene ( 2001 ). and especially with Otto'p'notri , Massimo Fantoni's band , Fabrizio Orrigo (both later merged into the projectPiccoli Fragilissimi Films ) David Bindi, Claudio Mangionello and Umberto Bartolini for whom he will produce the album Senza Pelle and with whom he will share the stage as support for the promotional tour of the album itself
He then becomes one of the four singers in the Living Nativity Scene , a theatrical performance by and with David Riondino and Stefano Bollani . He then began to find his connection with the Florentine art scene , and managed to build his own recording studio in Prato .
He writes the song È solo un sogno , inserted by Irene Grandi in the album Before leaving ( 2003 ) and then included in the subsequent live collection Irenegrandi.hits , in a version performed with Stefano Bollani .
