Antonio Rodriguez Baciero ( Aranda de Duero , Burgos ,29 mai 1936) Is a pianist , organist and musicologist Spanish.
Born in Aranda de Duero , he began his musical studies in Pamplona , where he gave his first concert at the age of ten. He then studied (1945) at the Royal Conservatory of Madrid with Puri Villar and Julia Parodie and at just eighteen he obtained a first prize and a special prize. This is the beginning of his friendship with Esteban Sánchez . He then perfected himself through an international course at the Chigiana Academy in Siena, with Guido Agosti . After abandoning his medical studies, he moved to Vienna between 1956 and 1965. He studied with Viola Thern, Paul Badura-Skoda , Jörg Demus and Alfred Brendel.
