The Hûnekop makes music whose sources of inspiration are so diverse, that it is difficult to indicate exactly where the band stands. Rock, country, punk, rockabilly; it can all be found in the music of the Hûnekop. The texts represent the voice of the Frisian worker in a humorous way. The only thing that counts for the men is that they themselves enjoy it. The workers' attitude of the band not only resonates in the lyrics, but is also evident from the productivity. Within 8 years, 5 full-length albums, a 'best-off' / live double album and a split EP were released. In Friesland the Hûnekop has been an indispensable concept for years and the rest of the Netherlands is also starting to wake up more and more.
