Rofo is a Belgian based group founded in 1982 by Ronny Verrept and Fonny De Wulff. Their first two first letters of the respective first name result in the group name RoFo . The music, which is mainly produced electronically using synthesizers , is part of Rofo's Synthdance and Italo Disco ranges . Since its inception, several more or less successful tracks and two albums have been released on a variety of record labels .
Their first titles, Watch Out , Here They Come and Flashlight on a Disconight, were produced by the then- newcomers together with Peter Vriends ( vocals ) and producer Ray "Flashlight" Muylle in their own 8-track audio studio. After the worldwide success with the last title Verrept and Vriends left the group.
In 1985, Rofo released the single I Want You with the new singer John Sauli. In 1987, Beach Love , composed and produced by Rob van Eijk and Michiel van der Kuy (co-producer of Koto and Laserdance ), was launched. It was followed by the first release of the very successful title Rofo's Theme and in early 1988 then the first album Rofo , named after the group. In the same year The Album was revised again and increased with new mixes and songs. Also, the somewhat refreshed single Rofo's Theme (Let's Go) came out new. In 1990, Rofo brought Rofo's Theme 2out. After that there were some remixes and remakes . In 1997, another new edition of the successful title Rofo's Theme appeared . In 2015, another single hit the market with two new titles "Face It" (produced by Eddi Mi Rami) and "Summer Love" (produced by Michiel van der Kuy). Both titles are again sung by John Sauli.
