With an assured, calm vocal style that sounded beyond his years, the Brighton, England-born producer/songwriter Louis M^ttrs was in his early twenties when "Lost & Not Found" -- his summer 2013 collaboration with established drum'n'bass duo Chase & Status -- hit the Top Ten of the U.K. singles chart. Although Will Kennard and Saul Milton were completely behind this particular track's airy and brisk production, he assisted them with the penning of its mournful lyric. The single was released the same week as Chase & Status headlined the Other Stage at Glastonbury, and M^ttrs joined them on-stage for a confident reading of the song in front of a national TV audience of millions.
