G.U.N., which is short for Generations of United Norteños, is a gangsta rap group (produced by Darkroom Familia), who released XIV Till Eternity, a full length album released in 1993. The album's release resulted in an increase in gang violence between Norteños and Sureños, notably in border areas of Northern California, around but not exclusive to Salinas, CA. Album producers and rappers were reported to be affiliated with, and often members of, the notorious Northern Californian gang, Las Ñuestra Familia. The album was quickly outlawed by the FBI which considered the album an effort to recruit Norteños in prison gangs. Little as known about the details of the production and rappers featured on the record, but members of Darkroom Familia such as Sir Dyno, Duke, Crooked, D-Roll, K.I.D., OSO, Young D, Dub, A.L.G., Mr. Menti, had notable involvement.
