Chung Ha is a South Korean singer, she made her solo debut on April 21, 2017 with the song "Week". She is also known to have been part of the provisional I.O.I. His fans are the Byulharang (별 하랑) Kim Chung Ha was born under the name Kim Chan Mi on February 9, 1996 in Seoul, South Korea. She lived in Dallas, Texas for eight years before returning to her homeland to become a singer.
In January 2016, Chung Ha participated in the show PRODUCE 101 as a trainee of MNH Entertainment, where she finished fourth with 403,633 votes which allowed her to debut with the provisional group IOI, on May 4, 2016. In this show Chung Ha proves his abilities in singing and dancing.
On December 21, his agency confirmed his debut as a soloist for the beginning of 2017, after the official end of I.O.I. And on April 21, 2017, Chung Ha unveiled his first single, Week. Song which will be followed by a mini-album on June 7, 2017, entitled Hands on Me.
