The Protest has set out to make a major impact in the music industry and to spread the word of God through their high energy music and live show. The band believes that as Christians we should “protest” for God’s truth.
The Protest has toured with national acts like The Letter Black, Icon For Hire, Decyfer Down, Sent By Ravens, Children 18:3, Write This Down, and Nine Lashes as well as opened for Fireflight, Disciple, Spoken, Brian "Head" Welch, Ashes Remain, We As Human, Family Force 5, Matt Moore, Luminate, We Are Leo, Lastwatch, Loftland, Pioneer, and The Wedding. Playing an average of 150+ shows a year, The Protest has headlined stages at Ichthus Festival, Cornerstone, LiFest, Agape Fest, and Rockfest. The Protest has shared their music and message in front of 20,000 students with Bill Ballenger on the “Break The Grey” tour across the Midwest.
The Protest worked with Grammy nominated and Dove Award winning producer Travis Wyrick, and Mark Anthony of The Letter Black on their debut album "Game Changer" which features Noah Henson of Pillar and Brad Noah of Disciple.
The Protest has spread their music and message by topping several Christian Radio Charts like Lightforce Radio, Fuel Radio.FM, ChristianRock.net (#1 for 7 weeks and #3 most requested song of 2012 with 'Throw The Roses'), ChristianHardRock.net, The Freakshow WJCF Radio, BaconRock Radio, and hit #1 on Arise Radio’s Top 20 in Nashville Tennessee.
The Protest never slows down and always brings an aggression above the standard, taking their message to the masses. The Protest headlined several shows at Superbowl XLVI in Indianapolis, IN. They also won the highly anticipated Piere's Musical Warfare 2011 in Ft. Wayne IN and earned the honor of opening for Tesla. Piere's is one of the Midwest’s largest concert venues having bands like Anthrax, Godsmack, Creed, REO Speedwagon, Keith Urban, Kid Rock, 3 Doors Down, Hinder, Disturbed, Five Finger Death Punch, and Sevendust.
The Protest guarantees an intense rock show and a positive message. Their goal is to minister to the masses through their music.
