Hailing from Helsinki/Espoo - Finland, ASSEMBLE THE CHARIOTS was formed in late 2008 by drummer Alex Lehto and guitarist Niklas Turunen. It wasn't long until guitarist Kevin Apostol and vocalist Ville Murdersved joined the band. In January 2009 bassist Tapsa Vapola gave his effort to the metal squad and intensive practicing began. After recording their first demo, ASSEMBLE THE CHARIOTS started searching for keyboardist and it didn't take long until Elina Corpsela joined the band. Soon after Reflections EP was released in december 2009, Elina Corpsela left the band and Essi Arkkula took her place.

Reborn in 2024, Assemble the Chariots is perhaps the most interesting blends of orchestral extreme metal and mythopoeic storytelling there is. Originally formed in 2008 the band has gone through many changes in their way of mixing the various components that make up their musical aesthetic, but the core concept has remained the same: Emphasizing epic orchestral melodies and chord progressions, together with high speed blast beats and monstrous vocals.

Assemble the Chariots' highly anticipated debut full length album Unyielding Night was released worldwide on July 19th 2024 via Seek & Strike records.
