Emma Louise Blackery (born 11 November 1991) is an English singer-songwriter, YouTuber vlogger, and author from Basildon, Essex. Her main YouTube channel has over 1.4 million subscribers and over 131 million video views. She also has a Vevo channel for her music videos which has over 3.3 million views and 63.9 thousand subscribers.

Music
Blackery's first EP, Human Behaviour, was released in early 2012. Blackery initially created her YouTube channel, emmablackery, to promote her music. In July 2013, Blackery released her second EP, Distance, accompanied by a music video for the lead track, "Go the Distance". The music video was uploaded to her main YouTube channel and currently has more than 1,000,000 views. The EP reached No. 1 on the iTunes Rock chart within the first week of its release. Blackery released her third EP, Perfect, on 11 November 2014, her 23rd birthday, and the song "Perfect" entered the UK Rock & Metal Singles Chart at number 8. Her fourth EP, Sucks to Be You, came out in 2016. The single peaked at No. 85 on the Scottish Singles Chart.

On 4 April 2016, Blackery announced that she would be joining pop punk band Busted as a special guest on their Pigs Can Fly Tour 2016. She toured by herself in October 2016 and from May to June 2017. She is touring Europe in March 2018, rescheduled for October 2018. She also occasionally performs at YouTube events.

In April 2017, she launched her Vevo channel, with the videos for "Nothing Without You, "Don't Come Home", and "Magnetised". On 26 May, Blackery released her fifth EP, Magnetised. On 2 June, the EP debuted at No. 63 on the UK Albums Chart, becoming her first EP to chart on the Official Album Chart. The EP peaked at No. 5 on the UK Independent Album Chart and No. 2 on the Official Independent Album Breakers Chart. On 6 August, Blackery received a Summer in the City Song of the Year award for "Nothing Without You". The music video for "Nothing Without You" has also achieved over 1,000,000 views on YouTube. The cover art for Magnetised was also featured in the Apple Keynote event for the iPhone X in September 2017.

On 16 March 2018 Emma released the single 'Dirt'. The song entered the UK iTunes chart at Number 28 and rose as high as number 15. ‘Dirt’ has approximately 948k streams on Spotify thus far. Furthermore, the 'Dirt' music video which was released on the same date on her Vevo Channel has amassed over 940k views so far.

On 30 April 2018, via Twitter, Blackery announced that her next single 'Agenda' would be released on 4 May 2018. A lyric video was released alongside the single release on Blackery's Vevo account. The official music video was released on 22 May. She later released "Icarus" and "Take Me Out"

On 22 May 2018 Blackery announced that her debut album, Villains, which was released on 31 August 2018.

Book
Blackery released a book she wrote called Feel Good 101: The Outsiders' Guide to a Happier Life, based upon a series featured on her main channel. In September 2017, the book was released and went on to become a best-seller.

YouTube
Blackery currently has three active YouTube channels, and multiple previously active channels which have either been deleted, left inactive, or re-branded into new channels.

Emma Blackery – Blackery's main channel, created in May 2012, on which she hosts her primary content including vlogs, music videos, comedy sketches and other miscellaneous content. She began to gain a following from reading excerpts from Fifty Shades of Grey on her channel, but these videos were later removed due to copyright complaints. During her Fifty Shades of Grey series, Blackery also began uploading comedy vlogs, inspired by Shane Dawson and Dan Howell. Some of her most viewed videos which are public as of April 2018 are The Sims in Real Life with over 3.7 million video views and If Websites Started dating which has over 3.2 million video views, showing the most popular of her online videos to fit in with her target audience of teens aged 14-19
Vloggery – Blackery's second active channel which is dedicated to vlogs, tips, advice, serious talk subjects and any other content in which she feels doesn’t belong on her main channel.
