Sari Beth Schorr is an American blues rock singer and songwriter from New York .
n 2015, producer Mike Vernon saw an appearance by Sari Schorr at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee , where he received the "Keeping the Blues Alive" category, and offered to produce an album with her. Previously, Schorr was already known for her live performances, for example in the New York CBGB club. She toured the States and Europe with Joe Louis Walker and Popa Chubby and was inducted into the New York Blues Hall of Fame.
Schorr's debut album A Force of Nature was released in 2016. Their band "The Engine Room" was joined by UK guitarist Innes Sibun . Oli Brown and Walter Trout also played the guitar as guests. The album contains a cover of Black Betty and received positive reviews. Black Betty also appeared as a music video.
2017 was a successful year for Sari Schorr in Europe. She toured, accompanied by Walter Trout , through Britain and on the mainland. She also guested at festivals such as the Steinegg Live Festival in Italy or the Rother Blues Days in Germany.
