Well known throughout Europe, Di Gojim is one of the leaders in today's Klezmer revival. Founded in 1988, the group's distinctive brand of Yiddish vocal and instrumental music in a theatrical setting has captivated audiences throughout Europe and in other parts in the world. Di Gojim's recent performance at the International Klezmer Festival of Sefad, Israel, has brought critical acclaim. The city was besieged by the most outstanding klezmer musicians of Israel. Among them Di Gojim was rated as the best klezmer orchestra of the entire festival thanks to their innovative and astonishing theatrical performance.

The Israeli TV-2 broadcasted their performance and the major newspaper of Israel the 'Jediot Agronot ', wrote about the first 'gojim' klezmer orchestra in Sefad.
Di Gojim, meaning 'the non-Jews' , is an ensemble of six musicians who combines the artistry of western classical music and the power of the East European ethnic and Jewish tradition played in a theatrical form. The musicians come from different musical backgrounds, including jazz, folk, classical and brass. Their repertoire ranges from wedding and dance music to song and ballads of Eastern Europe and the American Jewish musical tradition. With growing popularity, Di Gojim has performed in Belgium, Israel, France, Germany and Hungary for radio as well as television. In France they recorded the music for the French movie " Neuf Mois". The orchestra performed with great success at the European Yiddish Festivals in Leverkusen, Amsterdam, Budapest and Antwerp.

Di Gojim produced 7 CD's : Klezmer , Grine Medine, Noch a Sjoh, Bojbriker Klezmorim , Fun Sjtetl un Sjtets , the coproduction Bente Kahan & Di Gojim and Oostenwind.
In 1996 Di Gojim produced their second theatre show, "Fun Sjtetl un Sjtets", in which they tell the story of the ancient klezmer musicians who become the stars of American- Yiddish musical and entertainment.

In 1997 a concert was created with the famous Yiddish singer Bente Kahan. This concert was the hit of the International Jewish Festival of Amsterdam in 1997.
In 1998 Di Gojim play " Benja Krik & Di Brandwein Brider", a family concert with Dutch translations. The story is based on the stories of Isaac Babel, who wrote " Tales from Odessa ", in which is featuring Benja Krik the gangster from the Moldavanke, and the history of the Brandwein family.

In 1999 they start with an entirely new show called " Oostenwind", based on musical themes from the Balkan , which inspired well known Dutch authors as Robert Long and Ivo de Wijs, to write new Dutch texts. While playing 25 instruments and singing à capella with six voices they create a new leaf on the tree which is called klezmer.
