Kalim [Kalim Shamim] is a German rapper from Hamburg-Billstedt and a prominent figure in the German "G-Funk" and street rap scene. Originally signed to Xatar's Alles oder Nix Records, he made a major impact with his 2014 mixtape Sechs Kronen and his 2016 debut album Odyssee 579. Known for his distinctive flow and high-quality production, he later shifted towards a more modern, trap-influenced sound with projects like NULL AUF HUNDERT (2019) and DOTTY (2021). His discography features massive hits such as "Lowrider" and "Tage im Regen", and he recently returned with his 2024 album PARTU.
