El Beasto is a groove-metal, rock band out of central New Jersey that began in 2010 only as just an idea... an inception. With no official name and only some jam sessions to their credit, founding members Frank Rudy (rhythm guitar) and Christopher Gonzalez (drums/vocals) began a quest for rock greatness. After cycling through many part-time band members, Daniel Cannuli (lead guitar), a life-long friend of Chris, joined on only a partial note, before falling in love with the music and joining in full-time on the quest. After months of collaboration they cut a demo with 4 songs that showcases a mixture of sounds, styles and energy. Shorty after the demo was finished El Beasto found Tony Mendoza (bass guitar) to fill out the line -up then El Beasto began attacking the live scene in the summer of 2012, hitting most local venues within the tri-state area. But, now their quest continues on to broader horizon - looking for bigger and better venues playing with rising stars and fellow bands on a similar journey. El Beasto looks to cut a full length album in 2013 and span out onto an East Coast tour. Look out Rock and Roll 'cause El Beasto is going to kick your door in and blow the roof off, or as they sing: "You better run now. I'll count to three. You better hide now. So I can't see."
