"Tax the Heat" is a British classic rock / blues rock band from Bristol UK, founded in 2013.
Tax the Heat offer up an intoxicating amalgam of stadium-ready modern rock and no-frills, blue-collar, maximum R&B that invokes everyone from Cream and Thin Lizzy to the Black Keys and Masters of Reality. Based out of Bristol, England and featuring the talents of vocalist/guitarist Alex Veale, bass player Antonio Angotti, guitarist JP Jacyshyn, and drummer Jack Taylor, the band began recording demos shortly after forming. Those early tracks eventually caught the ear of heavyweight producer Chris Goss (Queens of the Stone Age, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club), who would go on to helm Tax the Heat's eponymous 2013 debut EP.
