Just Cause is a Canadian extreme metal band founded by front man guitarist Patrick J.Beaudoin in 1997 with the contribution of Gene Hoglan and Stuart Carruthers. The original line up consisted of Patrick J.Beaudoin (Guitars and Vocals), Gene Hoglan (Drums) and Stuart Carruthers (Bass) for the recording of their first 1997 self titled demo. In 2001 Just Cause recorded and released their first full length album "Finger it out...", the album featured Patrick and Gene with guest contributions from Rico Forrester and Chris Valagao. The F.I.O album was recorded and co-produced by Devin Townsend in Vancouver B.C Canada. Live contributions from 1997 to 2007 included Gene Hoglan (Testament, Death, Dark Angel, Strapping Young Lad, Fear Factory), Stuart Carruthers (Sub Version, Grip Inc., Golers), Chris Valagao (Zimmers Hole, West Of Hell), Walter Mason (Sub Version, Golers), Rico Forrester (Modus Operandi), Ashley Pearson (Revocation, 3 Inches Of Blood, Angel Grinder) and Chris Mangat (Angel Grinder). After a ridiculous 8 years hiatus the band just finished the recording of new material to be released in 2016 along with the re-release of the 2001 "Finger it out..." album.
