There are more artists with the same name: 1) Alias of Helsinki based drum and bass artist Christian Champagne. 2) Dutch group from Amsterdam who can be named the Dutch Abba. Had some big hits with very catching songs. Especially their song Rollerball gained a big new following in the underground queerparty Cruise Control. http://www.champagne-music-online.de/ 3) Czech euro-dance project by DJ Mysh (Michal Jirak). The was very popular in Czech charts in 1995.
