Maria Montell (born january 17, 1969) is a Danish singer. During the late 1980s and early 1990s she sang on small stages with Morten Remar, but broke through with two albums Jeg Er Her For Dig (1994) and Svært At Være Gudinde (1995), both of which featured at the time current girl-pop but also a certain originality. Later albums were in the same style, but Montells original fanbase had become older and more mature. She returned with bossa-style with a couple of events at Sletten Kro in Humlebæk which led to the album release of Bossa For My Baby. Official website: www.mariamontell.dk/
