Artist Biography
Available in: gb icon
Born in 1987.08.11, SHOWTA. was a pop/anime singer who started his carreer in 2006 with his debut single "Negaiboshi" under the label KING RECORDS. His second single "Trans-winter ~Fuyu no Mukougawa~" was one of the most important of his carreer as it was theme song for a dorama series called Damen's Walker, which leaded him to several presentations on TV Shows such as Pop Jam and Music Japan.
In 2008, SHOWTA. released his last works, a single and an album, "Hikari no GEN-chan" and "EVE" respectively. After that, his website promoter posted a message thanking evryone for the support, but SHOWTA. would end his carreer due to unclear reasons.
After a while, SHOWTA. was discovered to be working as anime character's dubber for the anime series "uta no PRINCE-sama" and the two seasons of "Kimi to Boku", as well as the games from the "uta no PRINCE-sama" animation and more. Currently, SHOWTA. has changed his stage name to "Aoi Shouta" (believed to be his real/born name) and released his re-debut, a mini-album intitled "BLUE BIRD".
