Gökhan Tepe was born in Istanbul on February 8, 1978. He completed his primary education in Yeşilyurt Hamdullah Suphi Tanrıöver Primary School. Afterwards, with encouragement from his family who realized his interest in music, he took Istanbul Technical University Turkish Music State Conservatory exams. He passed the exams and completed his secondary, high school and university education in Istanbul Technical University Turkish Music State Conservatory. The artist completed his master's education in Haliç University Conservatory Department

Biography:
Gökhan Tepe made his first composition at his secondary school years and he continued to donate compositions to the music industry from that date onwards. He stepped into professional music life in 1996 with his first album called "Çöz Beni" (Untie Me) whose maker was İskender Ulus and whose producer was Uğur Başar. From that album, the song "Dönmem" (I will not come back), which was written by Tepe and composed by Erdem Kınay, took its place among unforgettable songs from that day up to the present. The artist completed the promotion of his album "Çöz Beni" which was composed of the arrangements of Uğur Başar and Erdem Kınay with 5 video clips to the songs Dönmem, Bayıldım, Aşk Belası, Zor Gelir and Çöl Çiçeğim. In 1999, he gave to music lovers his album "Canözüm" which he prepared with the arrangements of Selim Çaldıran and Cenk Eroğlu. In this album, in addition to the song "Canözüm" which was written and composed by himself, there were also the songs "Seni Bana Vermediler" of Cenk Eroğlu and "Sevmeler Yasak Bana" which carried the signatures of Barış Aryay and Sementa. In this album, Gökhan Tepe blended Aşık Vesyel's work "Kara Toprak" with Selim Çaldıran's modern arrangement and presented it to the taste of music lovers. Gökhan Tepe, who added acting to his career in the year 2000, shared the lead role with Fatma Girik as her son in the TV series called "Benim İçin Ağlama" (Don't Cry for Me) which was produced by Osman Yağmurdereli and directed by Ümit Efekan and broadcast for 33 episodes. The artist who presented the album called "Belki Hüzün Belki De Aşk" (Maybe Sorrow, Maybe Love) also wrote and composed songs such as "Annem", "Ben Delinin Biriyim" and "Tanrı Affeder Mi?". After a break of 4 years, Tepe solidified his place in the summit in the 10th year of his professional music career with the album "Yürü Yüreğim" in July 2006. In this album, whose arrangements were made by Erhan Bayrak, Mustafa Ceceli and Barış Özesener, he made video clips for the songs "Yürü Yüreğim", "İnsanoğlu", "Gel Aşkım" and "Kaçkere". Except from the song "Evire Çevire" which was written by Hakkı Yalçın, all the songs in this album were written and composed by Gökhan Tepe. As his musical career continues, Gökhan Tepe also evaluates offers regarding acting. He shared the lead role with Burhan Öçal and Özlem Tekin in the TV Series called "Maçolar", which was broadcast on Show TV. After Maçolar, he starred as Ateş with Ece Uslu, Burcu Kara and Sinan Sümer in the TV series called Elveda Derken which was broadcast on Kanal D and was directed by Hilal Saral and which would last for 51 episodes. After Elveda Derken was broadcast in the Middle East and in Arab Countries, Gökhan Tepe drew tremendous attention in the region. He completed the preparations for his new album which he started towards the end of 2008 and his 5th album "VUR" was released. For the first time, Gökhan Tepe was the producer of his album. In this album, which he prepared with the arrangements of Erhan Bayrak and Barış Özesener, he included one song of Uğur Başar and one song of Serdar Aslan. Among the hits of the album, the song "Vur" by himself and "Çok Özlüyorum Seni" by Serdar Aslan ranked top in music lists in 2008-2009. With this album, the artist gave concerts in the Middle East and America for the first time. "Birkaç Beden Önce" (A Few Bodies Ago), which is the first single in Gökhan Tepe's music career, was released in November 2010. In this single called "Birkaç Beden Önce", which was written by Şebnem Sungur and composed by Gökhan Tepe, there were "acoustic" and "clup By RAK" versions of the song. The single which was released by Sony Music Türkiye ranked first in music lists of radio and music channels all over Turkey for a long time. Gökhan Tepe, who released his 6th album in the 15th year of his career from Sony Music Türkiye, worked with successful arrangers such as Erhan Bayrak and Barış Özesener. The first video clip of the album which took its place in music markets at the beginning of May 2011 was made for the song "KIRMIZI HALI", which was written and composed by Gökhan Tepe.
