"Zed " were a pop rock band from Christchurch, New Zealand formed in 1998. Originally formed while still students at Christchurch's Cashmere High School, Zed (Originally known as "Supra") is the dream child of Nathan King, Ben Campbell and Adrian Palmer, along with manager Ray Columbus.King felt the band needed a second guitarist and Andrew Lynch was hired in that capacity in 2000.
Zed took a hiatus in 2005, and the band members tried separate musical ventures. King launched a solo career and is now based in London. Campbell and Palmer formed a new band, Atlas, which disbanded in late 2008. Lynch is working as a session musician in Auckland.
