Sinplus are a Swiss duo, made up of brothers Ivan and Gabriel Broggini. The duo were chosen to represent Switzerland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku, Azerbaijan with "Unbreakable", after winning the Swiss national final on December 10.

On 10 December 2011 Sinplus were chosen to represent Switzerland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku, Azerbaijan with the single "Unbreakable" which was released on 1 October 2011. It finished 11th in the first semi-final and failed to qualify for the grand final.

The song entered the Swiss Singles Chart at number 24. The song is included on their debut studio album Disinformation which was released in May 2012.

Gabriel and Ivan are brothers. That is a promising, almost unbreakable set-up in the rock business. Yet they are still quite different characters. But whatever differences, vanities, stupidities or inconsistencies: everything stays in the family. And that’s a good thing.

Gabriel and Ivan are enthusiastic, very skilled musicians. And outstanding, gifted composers. They have made music for longer than they can remember. Gabriel, the skilled keyboardist and drummer, stands out first and foremost as an eye-catching charismatic singer with his polished seductive voice. At thirteen and fourteen Gabriel and Ivan both had their own bands. But even then they spent whole days and nights in their father's practice room. He was also a musician. But an amateur.

After leaving school, Gabriel decided to move to San Diego. The underground music scene fascinated him. Hardly back from Switzerland he formed a band together with his brother. And they composed songs. And songs. And songs. inFinity, the band name at that time, released its first single «Without Identity» that directly made it to the charts. And the video clip of the song surfaced on all television music channels. Among them the music TV trendsetter of the time VIVA. After the band won several competitions, they could tour through the most important rock and music clubs in the whole of Switzerland. With success.

Everybody knows the appetite comes with the eating. Gabriel and Ivan revised their concept together with a team of creative friends. From now on, the band was named SINPLUS. A play on words combining sin and plus. Indeed, they both are sinfully good-looking guys but they want the name of the band to be associated first and foremost with the meaning of their songs. From now on every new song should be an enticing beautiful sin and even more. SINPLUS recorded the EP «Get Control» in Zurich. The single «1984» was even included on a Californian compilation. A big inspiration for Gabriel and Ivan. The country of unlimited possibilities was suddenly appearing to come closer. Gabriel and Ivan were on their way. Destination L.A., Los Angeles. There the next EP «Happy and Free» was formed. Both the single as well as the video obtained considerable plays on many Swiss and Italian radio and television channels.

Next chapter: sport enthusiasm. Entitled «Shoot». A song as intensive as a goal celebration. With this song SINPLUS delivered the anthem for the ice hockey world championships in 2009. And they received the opportunity to appear in the biggest stadiums in Switzerland. Their gig in the Bern Arena in front of 15,000 enthusiastic ice hockey fans was legendary.

And then came the day which changed Gabriel’s and Ivan's world all of a sudden. On 10th December 2011 SINPLUS were chosen to officially represent Switzerland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku in Azerbaijan. The title «Unbreakable» defeated all the other strong competitors. But before the Eurovision adventure, in April 2012 they released the first SINPLUS album «Disinformation» with eleven songs in total.

Without a doubt: Baku was a milestone in SINPLUS's career. Both brothers Gabriel and Ivan have been up and down the country since then and became famous musicians even far beyond the Swiss borders. Even if SINPLUS missed out on the final, for outsiders it is barely understandable just what this competition participation triggered: 50,000 «Unbreakable» downloads, 3 million YouTube hits, 280,000 Spotify streams and 12,000 Facebook fans. Up to now close contact to fans in many countries. Enquiries and reactions from all over the world, especially from those countries where SINPLUS was able to perform thanks to the Eurovision spectacle: Holland, Belgium, Moldova, Sweden, the Czech Republic and from Lithuania, Russia, the Ukraine or from Portugal and Spain.

Emotion, euphoria and disappointment have given way to energy. In the first half of 2013 SINPLUS were in the studio again. This time in England where they were producing their new album with «140db». The album «Up to Me» with eleven forceful, melodious songs was released in January 2014. The album reached the #12 position in the Swiss charts. The single «Up to Me» reached the #41 position on the Swiss hitparade and the #52 position in the Czech hitparade. The pop/reggae song "Love Is Free", reached the #11 position in the Swiss hitparade. Sinplus are now touring and producing new songs.
