Akro is a Belgian rapper from Brussels. In the 90s he was a member of the underground hip-hop group Starflam. The group never reached real mainstream succes but was appreciated for bringing an original sound combined with strong (French) lyrics. In 2006, Akro decided to start a solo career with the album ‘L’encre, la sueur et le sang’ best known for the single ‘Bitches from Brussels’.
