The Jazz Pistols are a German jazz band and play Fusion ( Jazz Rock ). It consists of the musicians
Stefan Ivan Schäfer ( guitar ), who is represented on the Guitar Sampler "Adventures in Guitar Country" among the best German jazz guitarists
Christoph Victor Kaiser ( bass ), Fellow of the prestigious Berklee College of Music and
Thomas Lui Ludwig ( drums ), who through his work with Julia Neigel and Chaka Khan belongs to the German drummer elite.
The three musicians maintain a distinctive individual style, and connect its own idiosyncrasies in a mixture of original compositions, detailed arrangements and solos.
Since 2002, form the Jazz Pistols along with the well-known singer and actor Uwe Ochsenknecht the core of the 9-member Uwe Ochsenknecht band . In addition to numerous festival and club gigs in Germany and the neighboring countries the Jazz Pistols were so far in 26 countries in Africa and Europe go.
