Born Patrick Mitidieri and based in Glarus, Switzerland, he began his career as a member of the duo Luut & Tüütli. Also featuring rapper Shpoiz (born Michel Zweifel), Luut & Tüütli made their commercial recording debut in 2003 with the Und Überhaupt... EP. Their full-length album debut, Als Chänteds Bärge Versetzä (2005), followed a couple years later. The Bandit then embarked on a solo career, making his full-length album debut on the Nation Music label in 2008 with Dr Letscht Wos Git, which spawned the single "Mir Sind" and reached the Top 20 of the Swiss albums chart. The follow-up album Zrugg Id Zuäkunft (2010) spawned the single "Dschungelmusig" and reached the Top Ten. It features collaborations with Franky Kubrick, Lou Geniuz, Phenomden, Shpoiz, and Miss Platnum. ~ Jason Birchmeier
