Honningbarna is a Norwegian punk rock band from Kristiansand, formed in 2010. Singing in their local dialect, the band has built its identity on uncompromising energy and politically charged lyrics rooted in resistance and street‑level storytelling.

In 2025, they released their seventh studio album, Soft Spot—an intense and creative continuation of their earlier work. The record opens with a spoken‑word style intro before bursting into noisy guitars, explosive drums, and heavy basslines, layered with airy synths and the dramatic vocals of frontman Edvard Valberg. Tracks like “MP5,” “Festen som aldri stopper,” and “Schäfer” shift between raw chaos and tight control, creating a dense and dynamic sound. The album was also reviewed by Anthony Fantano, widely known as “the internet’s busiest music nerd” on YouTube, giving the band an extra wave of international attention.
