Frank Chastenier is a German jazz pianist.
With eight years Chastenier Frank received his first instruction on the piano, with thirteen won first place in Youth jazzt. At the age of 17 years Chastenier began classical piano studies and also a jazz studies at the Musikhochschule in Cologne. He also played in the National Youth Jazz Orchestra and then with Peter Herbolzheimer. Since 1991, he plays for the WDR Big Band, with whom he has recorded numerous albums.
1994 honored him with Bob Brookmeyer's Piano Concerto Serious Music. 2004 saw his first solo album "For You". In 2010 he took his second album "Songs I've Always Loved" before
