Nashville-based Christian alternative metal band We as Human features lead singer Justin Cordle, guitarists Jake Jones and Justin Forshaw, bassist Dave Draggoo, and drummer Adam Osborne. After forming in the mid-2000s, the band toured relentlessly, building a loyal following in Nashville and around the United States. They released an independent album, Until We're Dead in 2006 and a follow-up EP, Burning Satellites in 2007. Finally, the band caught the ear of Skillet's John Cooper, who helped the band ink a recording deal with Atlantic/Word Records in 2011. In 2013, We as Human released its self-titled, major-label debut produced by Howard Benson and featuring guest appearances by Cooper and Flyleaf's Lacey Mosley.
