There at at least 3 artists named Howler: 1. Howler is a garage rock band from Minneapolis, Minnesota. The band's permanent lineup consists of Jordan Gatesmith (vocals, guitar), Max Petrek (bass), Ian Nygaard (guitar), and Rory MacMurdo (drums). The Free Drunk Songfacts reports that on the strength of an EP and their live show, the quartet were signed by Rough Trade Records. In the summer of 2011, Howler recorded their debut album America Give Up , which was released on January 16, 2012 in the UK and the following day in the US. Following a successful year of touring that saw the band play the NME Generation Next tour and numerous festivals including Reading & Leads, T In The Park, Latitude and more, Gatesmith and co entered the studio in the summer of 2013 to record a follow up record for Rough Trade. The band's second album 'World of Joy' is out now on Rough Trade Records. 2. Howler is also the new name of the guys of Zucchini Drive. They issued Mud EP in 2011. 3. Howler is an acoustic folk duo from Grimsby, Ontario, Canada formed in June 2010. In 2013 they became Creature Speak.
