By the darkest of nights, Sombres Forêts was invoked by the single soul of Annatar. The first songs were composed with the desire to create cold and dark music with weapons of despair and hatred. The first Sombres Forêts demo was recorded exclusively for labels at the end of summer 2006, to find a suitable record label for future albums, and Annatar decided to sign a two-album deal with Québec’s Sepulchral
