In 2005, Lars Lillo-Stenberg and Rune Lindstrøm agreed to reunite the "original" deLillos as a side project. They had a concert at the club Elm Street in Oslo in November to celebrate the reunification under the name deLillos'85 and also gave the album Zoom-Zooming further in 2006.

The group continued cooperation and name deLillos'85 was eventually made into deLillos and as a trio they gave in February 2009 Remembering the Forgetting. In October 2008, wrote Lillo-Stenberg in deLillos' website: "This does not mean that Lundevall and Paasche are out of the party forever." During 2009, Lundevall again a full member of the band, while the Paasche participated as drummer when 20 anniversary of the brain alone was celebrated with a concert at the Opera House in Oslo and subsequent release of the live album The brain is alone in Opera.
