Bad Veins is an indie pop musical project by singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Benjamin Davis formed in Cincinnati, Ohio. The name Bad Veins is an anagram of his name Ben Davis. Davis writes all of the lyrics and music, including the dense orchestral arrangements found in most of the songs, plays guitar and keyboard, and sings, while also recording backtracking music on a reel-to-reel tape player, nicknamed Irene. Davis also uses a megaphone and telephone to sing into, producing a unique sound.
