Artist Biography

Phase one
Greg Burns and Jamie Shanahan skip school and write songs about phonics in Jamie’s basement. Then “Hardcore” Pete Kroll joined on guitar and Mike (?) on drums. These four put out a demo with the original version of “Who’s to Blame?”. Summer of 1992, saw Brad Lewellyn join on drums. In December 1992, they recorded a 6-track demo at Reelsound Studios in Bethany, CT. The tracks were 1. Intro 2. Blindside 3. Who’s To Blame? 4. Maybe 5. The Line 6. Faze. Brad left shortly after the recording for Tucson, AZ.

Phase two
Jamie and Greg recruit Rich Neagle on guitar who then brings along Fair Haven rabble rousers Todd Zullo on drums and Bob Beimler on second guitar. This line up would record the classic, yet utterly crap sounding “Bust” demo. The demo featured the songs “Trippin Balls”, “Smog”, “Baran”, “Who’s to Blame” and sometimes a snippet of a jam session from Todd’s basement in Fair Haven if there was enough room on the tape.

Phase three
Over the course of a couple years Jim Dillon fills in for Bob for numerous shows and a tour with Integrity.

Phase four
Finally, after parting ways with Jamie, the group records a 7” which features Kyle on vocals, Rich, Todd, Greg and Mick Barr as a second guitarist. The band tours the U.S. to support this 7” with Vechel Jaynes replacing Mick on guitar.
