Naujieji Lietuviai was a Lithuanian musical project, with their sometimes controversial lyrics sung in Lithuanian. They have released two albums and one karaoke DVD, but more of their songs can be found on the internet. There are over 50 songs in all. They use invectives in their songs and so they can’t be broadcasted on the radio. Naujieji Lietuviai, aka NL, were first widely heard with their song “Pasitusinam” in 2003. They became increasingly popular with song “Afigenai” in 2005. Recently, radio stations broadcasted some NL songs, such as “R-1”, “Neik i kastingus”, and “Neverk”.
