Fikret Kızılok (November 10, 1947 – September 22, 2001) was a Turkish musician. He was a pioneer of Turkish rock music and an early experimentalist.
Kızılok was introduced to music during his secondary school years at the Galatasaray High School, a top high school in Turkey that produced other music legends Barış Manço and Timur Selçuk, as well. His first instrument was an accordion. Upon graduation, he went on to study dentistry. “Yumma Gözün Kör Gibi ! Yağmur Olsam” (Do not shut your eyes as if you were blind | If I were rain) was his first album release.
Among his well-known songs are "Bu Kalp Seni Unutur mu?" (Would this heart forget you?), "Yeter ki" (Just so), "Zaman Zaman" (Time to time), "Gönül" (Heart), "Sevda Çiçeği" (Flower of love), "Gecenin Üçünde" (3 am at night), "Gidiyorsun" (You are going away). He quit music in 1973 following the death of Aşık Veysel, until the release of "Anadolu'yum" (I am Anatolia) in 1975.
He suffered a heart attack in 1998, when he also published his farewell album, "Mustafa Kemal- Devrimcinin Güncesi" (Mustafa Kemal - A Revolutionary's Diary). Following a second heart attack in July 2001, he died in September 2001.
