Coltemonikha (stylised as COLTEMÖNIKHA), was a Japanese electronica duo consisting of model and fashion designer Kate Sakai and record producer Yasutaka Nakata. The group was formed as a project that combined music and fashion. The duo produced two mini-albums and a compilation album to date, which were made to complement Sakai's fashion line "Made in Colkinikha". The name is a portmanteau of the brands "Colkinikha" and "Contemode". Coltemonikha's music is technopop-styled with picopop and electronic influences. The lyrics, written by Sakai, generally carry a light-hearted mood and are written in both Japanese and English.
