Aira Mitsuki is an electropop artist produced by Terukado. She was initially billed as "The Technopop Icon Born into the Future, but is now billed as "Technopop Icon Aira Mitsuki." Her career started in 2007, when she was selected from 6,325 applicants in the Mega Trance Utahime Audition. She released a single that year, "Colorful Tokyo Sounds No. 9," which charted at #122 on the Oricon charts for one week. In 2008, she released her first album, "C.O.P.Y.," which peaked at number 31 on the Oricon charts. It featured her second single, "China Discotica," written for the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

Mitsuki's musical style has been compared to the popular Yasutaka Nakata-produced acts Capsule and Perfume. She has stated that she is a fan of Nakata's work and cites the Pizzicato Five, Kahimi Karie, Yuki, Justice, Cornelius, and Daft Punk as influences on her MySpace page. Her music usually carries themes of science fiction or pop culture with ambient sound effects, heavy use of vocoder and lyrics exploring concepts such as space, robots and technology.
