Michel Delpech was a French singer-songwriter, born on 26 January 1946 in Courbevoie (Hauts-de-Seine, France) and died on 2 January 2016 in Puteaux (Hauts-de-Seine).

Some of his songs left their mark on the 1960s and 1970s, notably Chez Laurette, Wight Is Wight, Pour un flirt, Que Marianne était jolie, Les Divorcés, Le Chasseur, Quand j'étais chanteur and Le Loir-et-Cher.
