In July 2008 Tarek Maghary announced that Majesty had ended and would be replaced by a new band called Metalforce. The band line-up was initially the same, but the new version was signed to Magic Circle Music rather than Massacre Records.

In April 2011 Maghary changed the name of the band back to Majesty, having released one album as Metalforce.
