Nine Muses, also 9Muses, is a nine member South Korean girl group under the Star Empire Entertainment music label. They are also referred to as Namyu(나뮤) by the fans. The group made their official debut in August 2010 with the single "No Playboy" as well as the release of their first single album, Let's Have a Party. The group originally had nine members until Jaekyung dropped out of the group to pursue her modelling career. Hyuna was then added to the group near the end of 2010. On 11 August 2011, Star Empire Entertainment announced that Rana and Bini had left the group in order to pursue individual activities. In January 2012, Kyungri was officially added before their News promotion. In January 2013, after having performed with the rest of the members for the whole of 2012 after their Ticket promotion is over, Son SungA was finally officially announced as the ninth member making them a nine-member group again.
