Artist BiographyAvailable in:

Clipse are brothers Pusha T and No Malice from Virginia Beach, Virginia — a duo that since the mid-90s has turned street narratives into verbal art. Discovered by childhood friend Pharrell Williams, they broke through in 2002 with the debut Lord Willin’ and the iconic single “Grindin’”. The critically acclaimed second album Hell Hath No Fury cemented them as one of hip-hop’s sharpest duos, before a lengthy hiatus from 2010 was broken with the comeback album Let God Sort Em Out in 2025.
The sound of Clipse is minimalist, ice-cold and precise — driven by The Neptunes’ avant-garde production and the brothers’ contrasting styles. Pusha T delivers with aggressive elegance, while No Malice brings reflection and depth. Together they elevate so-called “coke rap” into something far greater: wordcraft with razor-sharp punchlines, creative metaphors and a literary weight that has inspired an entire generation of rappers.
Live, Clipse are pure presence. Two brothers, stripped down to the essentials — the rhymes, the energy, and a chemistry that only blood can create. This is hip-hop in its most concentrated form.
