Artist Biography

Within Reach was formed in the beginning of 1996 by Magnus Törnkvist (vocals), Jocke Eriksson (drums), Magnus Brolin (bass) and Björn Hahne (guitar). After just a few weeks of rehearsal, the band was offered to be on the compilation record, Penalty (Wounded Records), and recorded two songs for this occasion.
In the late spring the same year the self-distributed EP The Light Will Return was released, and this attracted the attention of the label Sidekicks Records who then contracted the band.
