Artist Biography Available in: Starting out as a three piece indie/pop band, Why Intercept consisted of vocalist Kirk Finley, guitarist Justin Nolan and Drummer Dan Lasik. Shortly after releasing their first album All Of This Is Circumstance in 2002, Justin Nolan was replaced by two new guitarists, Allan Cardenas and Michael John Grant.
This change led the band to experiment with heavier sounds which eventually came to fruition in the form of Channels, their first and only full length album released in 2008. After a handful of tours and countless number of local shows, Why Intercept finally disbanned in 2011.
