Sandra van Nieuwland ( Delft , 16 February 1977 ), also known as Sandra Newland , is a Dutch singer. She gained national prominence through its participation in the third season of the television program The Voice of Holland . In 2005 she graduated in musicology at the University of Groningen . Van Nieuwland sang in different bands. These were mostly top-100 cover bands and jazz collectives . Her band was fixed pop-/jazzcombo Apple Three . In 2011, Van Nieuwland solo to the quarterfinals of the Grand Prix of Netherlands . She spent the beginning of 2012 as Sandra Newland her first single Love revives your heart from which they are in the Netherlands for the first-Itunes Charts list obtained. In May of that year won the Haarlem Sandra singing festival.
