MEG is a Japanese singer. In 2001, at age 20, she started her career by auditioning for record labels and was signed by indie label BURGER INN RECORDS. She released her debut single, "Kasa to Shizuku," on November 28th, 2001. Initially spelling her name in all lowercase (meg), she changed her name to uppercase in 2006. Since the name change, MEG has generally made only electropop, and has been mostly produced by Yasutaka Nakata.
