Album Description
Available in:
Forbidden is the highly anticipated self-titled sixth studio album by the American thrash metal band Forbidden, released on October 23, 2026 through BLKIIBLK Records. Marking their first full-length studio release since Omega Wave (2010), the album breaks a 16-year recording silence and ushers in a brand-new era for the Bay Area thrash veterans.
The album was recorded at Sharkbite Studios in Oakland, California, and produced by Zack Ohren alongside Locicero and Kontos. Critics have noted that while the record retains the band's foundational Bay Area thrash roots, it aggressively incorporates progressive and experimental song structures.
