Parafraseando um ditado popular brasileiro: "Quem é vivo, sempre aparece"

After an EP (*Apostles*; 2024) using only Brazilian samples, this is my first full-length mixtape following the same idea.

My primary intention was to explore the diverse rhythmic and musical sounds of Brazil: samba, pagode, afoxé, batucada, baião, forró, and so on. Using only Brazilian samples and focusing on creating an eclectic, experimental atmosphere with influences from ambient, noise, trip-hop, and downtempo.

I also tried using sampling as a way to tell stories and explore various perspectives through these vocal samples. That is why some songs include lyrics, and for the most part, they deal with themes such as love (its absence or "saudade"), existentialism, and spirituality.
