A Cry For The Slain is the third full-length album by the Scottish blackened folk metal band Cnoc An Tursa, released on 24 April 2026. Hailing from Falkirk, the band returned after an eight-year hiatus following their 2017 album, The Forty Five.
The album is described as an evocative tribute to Scottish history, folklore, and mythology. It blends fierce black metal with traditional Gaelic melodies, creating a sound that ranges from "mourning and defiance" to "pride and passion".
