Album Description
Available in:
Music is something I’ve had present in my life for as long as I can remember. When I was a child, my mother had a collection of CDs from many artists. Names like Marco Antonio Solís, Chayanne, Camilo Sesto, and many others played constantly. I played the role of DJ, I chose and played the CDs I wanted. As an innocent child, I didn’t understand anything, but I picked the CDs that looked the nicest and played them. I think that was one of the reasons why I love music so much.

Many years later, around early 2017, Hip Hop knocked on my door and music became something daily. A year later I started making my first beats, and the rest is a chain of musical projects, one after another. In 2022 I created Mabisyo; the rest is a story you already know.

I imagine this whole journey as a painting I created myself. At times, I ran out of colors to keep painting my ideas. In those moments, people like my man Memoria Oculta, Brickmason, Slowerpace, MBD, Majestic 12, Insomaniac, Magdalene, and many others helped me keep painting those ideas.

I wanted to make an album that felt like a collage of Jazz and Lo-Fi Hip Hop something I could listen to while studying, but that also reminded me of the path that music has taken me on.

Thanks, and keep enjoying the music.
